B00.io
B00 is an AI-native project hub for hardware. Files, revisions, history and decisions live in one record instead of scattered across CAD, chat, email and supplier threads, so a team can see what has fallen out of sync without adopting enterprise PLM.

My role
GTM and marketing lead on a twelve-person team
Founder-funded and pre-launch, built through a USC incubator course. Twelve people across product, engineering, design and go-to-market. I own positioning and the launch plan. This page is dated because the work is still moving.
Who it is for
Two users, one record
• Individual builders. Product designers and early-stage founders who want one home for a project’s files and somewhere to publish the work.
• Small hardware teams. Startups and studios where designers and engineers work across different tools and locations.
• Both are too small for enterprise PLM and too serious for a shared drive.
Decisions so far
Choices so far, and what each one costs
• Dropped AI artifact generation. B00 manages and shares projects instead of making them. We gave up the flashier demo and got a product we could define.
• Named the customer. Our mentor’s read was that the profile was missing, so we wrote it: individual builders and small hardware teams, with a persona for each.
• Acquisition starts on campus. USC builders first, not paid channels. Slower reach, but the people are real and the cost is near zero.

The open questions
• Will a team move an active project onto B00? Target is four to five teams migrated in October.
• The signal: three published projects and an interview with every team that migrates.
• Interview every team that drops off to find the step where they went back to their old tools. Fix that step before onboarding anyone new.
